DonFuer
Template:Infobox groupThe DonFuerian Empire (or simply DonFuer) is a group that was founded by D_loaded in 2013. DonFuer is both the name of the group, and its series of flagship bases. The group works to promote community, building, and builders all across 2b2t. It's one of the few major groups on 2b2t to have been founded outside the server, with members of the group also playing on Constantiam, 9b9t, and AVAS, as well as several other 2b2t clones.
History
2013-2016
The group has existed since August 2013, and has spread its influence across different servers. It has had 27+ different Capital Cities throughout a myriad of Minecraft servers, particularly anarchy or faction servers. It was brought to 2b2t by The Vortex Coalition. The Supreme Leader of VoCo, Coltsnid, had appointed HermeticLock as an executive member of the group. Herm was friends with D_loaded and suggested to Coltsnid that they recruit him into VoCo to build a large city for the group. Colt went with Herm to the 9th DonFuer on another server, and convinced D_loaded to join VoCo and build a city on 2b2t.
2016-2018
The tenth city was founded on December 11, 2016. It stood for just over one month until its coordinates were leaked by Coltsnid on January 14, 2017, due to the group's claim to be responsible for "The Fall of VoCo". 30 minutes later, Babbaj arrived at the city and attacked, turning the city into ruin. The 11th city was abandoned before completion because Hermeticlock was starting the SpawnMasons. The 12th DonFuer was ended on July 10th, and griefed on 9/11, along with Don Meer, Don Hoggal, and Los Garr by Llane. Later on, D_loaded ended up in some drama with the Sixth Incursion, prompting him to have to leave 2b2t, and take the group with him.
2018-2020
DonFuer spent many years drifting between other anarchy servers, In a long slow decline until March of 2020 when D_loaded reconciled with most of the people from then and rejoined the SpawnMasons on 2b2t.
2020-2022
Template:See also D_loaded joined the base COVID-2147 in April 2020 which he built much of, until its grief in May 2020, when he began calling it DonFuer 18. The grief was controversial due to it being a staged event between HermeticLock and D_loaded to get DonFuer into a FitMC video, without consultation with base members.
After DonFuer returned to 2b2t in 2020, back from a hiatus, a new spawnbase was created. It was leaked by fr1kin within a span of a few days. A new oriental themed base, Karakorum, was built over the span of three weeks, from September 16, 2020, to October 9, 2020. It was found using a world-downloader coordinate exploit where region files remained of the base when another download of a different base was shared. It was griefed by the Backstreet Boys, but not before FamilyPumpkin6 saved most of the items there and self-griefed before BSB could arrive.
DonFuer 20
DonFuer 20 was founded on October 27, 2020, and lasted until March 13, 2021, It was the largest DonFuer up to that point, and featured a large castle with a netherrack roof. In early March the base was accidentally leaked inside a Guardsmen Discord channel. After which Spawnmason members began showing up to harass and troll the builders as revenge for COVID-2147. To end the drama, DonFuers leadership cut their loses and leaked the base themselves on reddit, leading to its destruction. Template:See also
During early 2021, DonFuer created a self-governing division called "DonFuer Rangers". This branch of the group, intended for new recruits, was rolled back into the main group in 2022.
DonFuer 21
After the destruction of Donfuer 20, DonFuer 21 was founded much farther out and had a focus on more modern buildings. It was griefed on June 1, 2021, by Team Rocket. After one of Donfuer's members was blackmailed with his personal information into leaking the coordinates. Template:See also
DonFuer 22
DonFuer 22 was started on September 15th 2021. It slowly grew to become one of DonFuers most impressive medieval themed bases. It was destroyed close to the end of the year, around December 20th. Template:See also
DonFuer 23
After the success of DonFuer 22, the group decided to start another base on February 25, 2022, DonFuer 23. At first the base construction was slow and was mostly being built by D loaded and Zeiss, however later into the base Bonk was added and he added much of the housing. The base would last until July 27, 2022, when Steampunkjax leaked the coordinates along with other bases to the Backstreet Boys. Template:See also
2022 Membership Surge
During the summer of 2022, DonFuer experienced a large recruitment surge. This was due to reforming member application, bringing applications into their large public Discord, and allowing anyone to apply. This period of growth also coincided with substantial griefing attacks during this period by BSB, however it did not slow the group's growth. DonFuer would peak at 230 members on 2b2t during October of that year.
Aureus City Rebuild
A few days after DonFuer 23 was griefed on July 31, 2022, DonFuer started on a project centering around rebuilding Aureus City and was completed a little more than a week later on August 8, 2022. This base would be featured in a fit video and would be self griefed by the builders after it was found on stream.
DonFuer 25
After the Aureus City Rebuild on August 11, 2022, DonFuer started DonFuer 25. Over 3 months of building this would be the largest DonFuer base to date. The base was self griefed on November 17, 2022, by the builders.
2023-2024
In February of 2023, Donfuer would take responsibility for the grief of the Bing Bong Connect 4 event. This would set into motion a swift and overwhelming amount of backlash, leading to almost every base being griefed. Following this event, Donfuer went private and the group underwent internal changes, leading to the purging of 4/5ths of their membership.
Later in February, Joetheblue started The Blue Castle just as a personal side project, however he allowed the rest of the DonFuer high ranking members to join and come build.
DonFuer 27
Traveeseemo worked with Phosph0lipid to establish the base: Aledondria, which later became DonFuer 27. It was the first Greco-Roman Egyptian Themed base in the group's history, and had many of the group's most trusted members come and contribute to it. Template:See also
The Dark Mirror
In early 2023, in an effort to create something never done before on 2b2t, D_loaded worked with Lukent, N8TT, and Darkomier to create The Dark Mirror. This was a massive single build that would be the very first build to run from Bedrock to Build Limit. Being 254 blocks high, it broke any previous record for highest player-made build. This build was primarily be constructed by Darkomier over the course of a month and was constructed in secret in iTristan's Gape, the massive world-edited hole that was created by iTristan during the backdoor drama of 2016. The build was made public after its completion, and was later griefed by the Teutonic Order as "the last major grief before the 1.19 Update" in September 2023. Template:See also
In March, 2024, Lukent wanted to establish another high-ranking Spawn Base for members of Donfuer to come build at. This base was called Red Castle, which was the continuation of the High-Ranking Spawn Base from the previous year: Blue Castle. Many members of Donfuer came to build at this base, allowing it to grow extremely quickly. Trusted members of other groups were also invited including VapePens Elite Alliance, GrayBeard Geezers, WaterWay Union, Cake Stand, and Wingston. Over 80 people came to build at the base before it was leaked to and destroyed by Outlast and Astral Brotherhood on May 4th, 2024.
Late 2024 and Beyond
DonFuer 28
After being kept well under wraps for over a year, Donfuer 28 was made public after it was self-griefed by it's builders on July 4th, 2024. This base was established on June 22nd, 2023, and became what was considered to be the greatest base in Donfuer History up until that point. It also grew to hold the record of being the largest End Base ever built, and the largest base by area ever built in 2b2t history. Template:See also
In October 2024, one of the 'Elders' in Donfuer, a1fastyellowgto, decided to betray the group after being involved for over 4 years. He downloaded and leaked discord chat logs from all of the known discords of the group, as well as several private discords used by group leaders. He also leaked the coordinates to every active base at the time, which were then griefed by Fifth Column. Due to this event, 2 other high ranking members of the group were removed as well. It became known as "Connect 5: Donfall" by all those involved.
In December, 2024 Javikia was promoted to Elder.
DonFuer continues under N8TT, Lukent, and Javikia's leadership; mending several of its old rivalries & working on joint bases with the Vapepens Elite Alliance, the group's newfound closest ally.
Building contests
DonFuer is also known for hosting semi-public building contests with 2b2t players. The group used to livestream the contests on its YouTube channel, but now posts highlight videos of the contests. Contestants usually build for an hour and a half, and compete for various prizes such as priority-queue or Discord Nitro. They also sometimes feature well known community members such as Hermeticlock, FastVincent1 and JacktheRippa as guest hosts.
In early 2023, there was a pause on Building Contests, but it was revived in October 2023 by A1fastyellowgto, Darkomier, & Max1mumChr1s. After several successful contests, they were discontinued due to waning interest.
In early 2025, DonFuer build contests were resumed privately on their creative server for members only.
Trivia
- The name "DonFuer" was supposed to be a German translation of the phrase "Father's Gift." Although the translation was faulty, the name stuck. The name was used both for the group and its series of flagship bases. It is also an anagram of the word "Founder".
- HermeticLock created an anarchy server with the IP anarchyheros.mcph.co, which DonFuer was incredibly powerful on due to Herm abusing op. Much of DonFuer's history was spent there, and most of D's YouTube content takes place on that server.
- D_loaded has since deleted his YouTube channel, later replacing it.
- In 2020, Fit made a video addressing DonFuer. The attention that the group received pushed the new DonFuer to go public and announce its existence to the world
- DonFuer itself is now over 10 years old.
Ranking Structure
Scout - First rank in the group for new recruits.
Ranger - Mid rank within the group, must have a vouch from an existing ranger or higher.
Man At Arms - Full member of the group, most be voted in from fellow Men At Arms.
Knight - A purely cosmetic rank reserved for those who have finished their first main base.
Viceroy - First leadership rank within the group reserved for those who are trusted and show leadership potential.
